Initial Contacts
Ascend tracks all potential signups in a database separate from signed up Estates. Enter info directly to the "Initial Interview" module at the time of first contact. Use the quick entry screens to gather all the data needed to evaluate the situation.
Once you decide on a course of action you can do the initial e'filing directly from "Initial Interview" When you have the OSB Estate number you transfer all of the information to the "Estates Module" for further processing. All information in the Initial Interview module is then "frozen" so you can always go back to see where you started from.
The Initial Interview Module handles third party guarantees and produces all required signup and prescribed forms. As with all other areas of Ascend there are places to keep an unlimited number of contact and other notes. Whenever the potential signup calls, anyone in the office can have access to know exactly what needs to be done or the answer any questions. Do not lose another potential client because the person they where dealing with is not available.
If you have lost contact with someone you can make their file inactive so it is always there ready to bring back to active but in the mean time your system is not cluttered with non active potential signups.
